New Boston Fund, Inc., a real estate investment, development and management firm, is pleased to announce a new partnership with the Boston-based nonprofit organization, Building Impact. Building Impact harnesses the collective energy, resources and goodwill of companies and individuals to better serve their community by connecting them through the buildings where they live and work with local nonprofits and community organizations in need of resources and support.

"This partnership is very significant for us because New Boston Fund shares our values and commitment to the community," says Lisa Guyon, Executive Director of Building Impact. "Because of their presence in Hartford, Washington D.C, Cincinnati, Indianapolis and Florida, we hope to expand our organization into new neighborhoods through our work with them."

"For years, New Boston Fund's building concierge program has organized blood drives, collected donations during the holidays and purchased school supplies for local students," says Gary Hofstetter, Senior Vice President and President of New Boston Management Services. "We are excited to work with Building Impact because they will help us identify the greatest needs in our communities and help us reach more people. With their help, we will be able to make the most of our community service events and maximize our donations."

New Boston Fund is now a sponsor and founding real estate partner of Building Impact. Through their partnership, they will organize tenants from both New Boston Fund's residential and office properties to increase philanthropic donations and civic engagement.

This is another service we will be able to offer our tenants," says Hofstetter. "Many individuals and small businesses want to collect donations and organize community events, but they don't know how to get started. With Building Impact, we can help them translate their goodwill into action and make an even bigger impact on the community."

Building Impact and New Boston Fund will begin their new partnership by focusing on New Boston Fund's New England properties. Their hope is to expand these services to additional offices and residential buildings across the country.

About Building Impact

Building Impact harnesses the collective energy, resources and goodwill of companies and individuals in office and residential buildings to benefit nonprofit and community organizations. Building Impact partners with other high-impact nonprofit organizations and channels the interest, involvement, and resources offered by our program users to these organizations working to address our most pressing community issues. Building Impact currently collaborates through education, volunteering, and donation activities with carefully selected core partners such as Mass Mentoring, Cradles to Crayons, The United Way of Massachusetts Bay, and Project Bread, who have similar distribution models with wide geographic reach. We also work to channel the volunteer efforts and resources of our program users to numerous smaller, community-based organizations.
